Securing funds for a student’s college education can be massively challenging most specially if they see education as a luxury. Something that cannot be easily afforded or something that can be set aside because the family prioritize the mouths to feed.
As hard as it can be, parents, with a heavy heart, choose to ask their children if they can help them save money for a degree program or worst, take some leave until they can afford to send their child for a college education. The sad part is no one knows when they can afford it. Living in this world where everything is about money, it will be hard for a family to sustain and support even a bachelor’s degree.
The good news is there are some institutions that provide scholarships to well-deserved and qualified students. Some may not fully support the whole expense but at least, a family can receive help to fund the college education of their children. Starting is hard but at least it’s already a one step away to their bright future.
